The Sovereign Hunts

The 2001 Club hunt took a slightly different form - being four independent hunts focused of different areas of the UK. Each hunt offers a solid gold sovereign for the winner.

Stepping Stones by Charles Cunnigham - published in August 2001 and found nearly three and a half years later, in January 2005 by former member John Lee, in Lanarkshire

Fortuna by Ann Hughes - published in August 2001 and solved in December 2001 by Harry Hazell and Lyn Mann

The Lost Queen by Brian Souter - published in August 2001 and solved in November 2001 by Mike Smith, near Otley, West Yorkshire

A Shut and Open Case by Matt Edwards and Nick Perry - published in August 2001 and solved in September 2001 by Paul Harkin, and the second prize by Sandra Young in October 2002.
